Teacher's Assistant

3-6 Classroom Assistant

6-12 Classroom Assistant

GROW is looking to hire a Classroom Assistant for our Primary and/or Elementary Classroom.

Eligible candidates must:

  • Have an interest in child development and act as support to the classroom lead guide.

  • Create materials for the lead guide as needed in order to support student interests.

  • Maintain a collaborative and joyful classroom environment.

  • Be open to learning about how to implement the principles of Montessori education and the "language" of positive discipline.

  • Believe in education that meets the child’s physical, emotional, and intellectual development 

  • Guide children to enthusiastically follow their interests and passions while developing strong academic skills, leadership, self-discipline, responsibility, and independence

The candidate may be fluent in either English and/or Spanish. The position is Part-Time M-F from 7:45am - 1:45. The assistant’s primary responsibility is to support the teacher. Must be willing to take an AMI Approved assistant's course.

Hourly: $17-$25/hr based on experience.
