A Camp for Kids, By Kids!
We understand the need for families with dual-working parents to have a safe and trustworthy place for their child to stay in the summer. A bit of creativity and fun is also a plus! Camp Curiosity (for ages 3 to 12) is a nurturing and safe environment that incorporates Montessori principles. This program is open to all kids, regardless of their enrollment at Grow Montessori Academy.
*While run by teens 14+, Camp Curiosity is still adult-supervised.
*Children must be potty-trained in order to participate in Camp Curiosity.
Camp Dates 2026: Monday, August 3rd - Friday, August 7th.

Half-Day: 8:15 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. $150
Full Day: 8:15 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. $225
About Camp Curiosity
Camp Curiosity was first created in 2020 during the Covid19 pandemic. It was originally called Camp Cul-De-Sac because it was started by a few neighbors who lived on a cul-de-sac, looking for a way to have fun when many summer camps were shut down.
It began with four original counselors with one mission: to create a fun camp for kids during the not-so-fun summer everyone had been having. We needed to get outside, and thought, "Why not share that freedom with other kids like us?". Camp Curiosity is all about kids being creative, collaborating, inventing, building, playing, and having fun. Our counselors (Carter, Rose, Inde, along with our Counselors in Training Casey, Eva, and Delaney) provide a nurturing and safe environment for the campers. While Camp Creative is run by kids, it is still adult-supervised to ensure the safety and well-being of all camp participants.
Camp Curiosity Age Groups:
3-6 Year Olds
Our camp day for 3-6 year olds includes play-based experiences focused on process-oriented art, sensory exploration, and imaginative play rather than a final product. Daily activities might involve painting, clay modeling, sensory exploration, music and movement, dramatic play, or a nature hike. Every camp day includes ample outdoor structured and unstructured time.

11:30-12:00 - Lunch
12:00-12:30 - Outdoor Time
12:30 - Half-Day Camper Pick-Up and Naptime for the nappers.
12:30-3:00 - Camp Activities

6-12 Year Olds
Our camp day for 6-12 year olds encourages collaboration, friendship-building, and peer interaction. Daily activities might involve stop motion animation, puppet making/sewing, cooking, coding, cardboard creations, plus classic camp activities like water games, STEM, sports, and arts & crafts. We would love to hear about what your child is interested in, and we will do our best to include their ideas.
